I'd like to enter the Jimbo-Caster / Lefticaster. I haven't really come up with a name for it. Still needs string trees, but its nearly 100%.

Yeah! The Pau Ferro has really surprised me. It looks awesome, has somewhat of a carved swirly chocolate appearance, and its super smooth. I'm pretty sure from now on all necks I order will be raw wood.

Your kids are adorable!

Awesome bass. Looks clean. Was it a deliberate choice to mix black tuners with chrome hardware?

He swaps necks pretty frequently, so I doubt many of his tuners match the basses.

It wasn't a deliberate choice, but more of a realization that the tuners didn't necessarily have to match the rest of the hardware.  In this case I chose black tuners because they matched the nut and the fretless lines.  But I've used chrome tuners on another Bubinga neck and they looked good as well.

Actually, most of them do match.  This is one of the exceptions.

Well, I agree. A while ago I saw this strat in another thread with a mix of chrome/black hardware and blue body and it looked great too. Chrome and black work well together.

Ok cool, the poll is up now!  :blob7:

My vote goes to tubby.twins' Gecko.
Except for the fretlines, that bass is pure win! :blob7:

I feel like I'm letting my bass brothers down but I just have to go for Blackdog's V. It's such a striking instrument, totally different from what we usually see on this board. It wouldn't suit me, but I think that body is rediculously cool (which I'm not).

Insanely tough choice this month!  I'm going to take a day to look them all over again.  :sad1:
