I read that the stuff didn't actually cost that much.. the car was borrowed, and the horse isn't the kentucky derby winner, and the superbowl stuff is from the 80s.

Yeah, but have you noticed the music that the band has been playing?  It's all Zeppelin, Springsteen, The Who.  And you know that it was expensive for them to play Satisfaction.  He may not be spending as much as he says, but it still can't be cheap.

No, they played the original master recording of Satisfaction on the show.  And the band has been playing all stuff by huge bands as well, like Zeppelin.
