Anyone here used the Compu-Bias device? http://www.compu-bias.com/

Thoughts? I am thinking about getting one to make biasing my amp quicker and easier (basically since I don't have a lot of electronic equipment anymore as well).  Would appreciate anyones input on it.

Thanks!

Don't need a lot of equipment to bias... Digital Multimeter, a calculator (or pen n paper, or your head lol) and optionally,
a dummy load if you're going to bias an amp head disconnected from the speaker(s).

Additionally, you may need to install 1-Ohm biasing resistors so you can take readings.

And of course, some instructions:

http://www.duncanamps.com/technical/lvbias.html

(take note there are two biasing methods listed there)

Typically, you'll want to have the powert00bs running at approx. 70-75% of MAX static dissipation wattage.  Run
'em hotter and they'll fry quicker - run 'em colder and they'll last longer.

Finally, gotta stress the dangers of playing around in a live amp - be careful,
make sure you know exactly what you're supposed to be doing each time
you stick your fingers in there, and try to keep one hand in your pocket (or
sit on it).
