Cocobolo - Worth The Extra Spend?

Hi all,

I am thinking of putting together a cocobolo body and a neck for my next build.

Does anyone have this combination and have you heard a dramatic difference in tone, for example, compared to Indian Rosewood?

Any advice would be kindly appreciated.

In a solid body there won't be a big difference in tone.    Be advised that cocobolo is  notoriously allergenic. Reported as a sensitizer; can cause skin, eye, and respiratory irritation, as well as nausea, pink-eye, and asthma-like symptoms. 

It has an aversion to glue due to the natural oil content , typically a wipe down with solvent will address this before any gluing.
