Whaddaya, in the witness protection program or something? Seems like this is gonna be the 4th or 5th move in the last 10 years or so.

Reno to Bay Area 2003. Laid off from work January 2014, so a job opportunity took me from Santa Clara to Vegas, Feb. 2014; ancillary benefit of being close to aging mother.  Ex-wife refused to send kids to visit per agreement, so back to Bay Area with accompanying litigation against ex, December 2014.  Youngest child of first marriage turns 18, June 2018.  Opportunity to move out of crushingly expensive Bay Area to moderately overpriced San Diego where other family members (mine and wife 2.0's) live July 2018.  All makes perfect sense.

I left the bay area in 2004 & haven't looked back.
I couldn't afford to move back there if I wanted to.
