Wow -- killer!!  That pinstripe is awesome, but the whole thing looks great.  I'd love to hear some sound clips -- never heard Delano PU's before, and I'm curious about the combo of the bubinga neck and korina body.  How many coats of Tru-oil did you end up using?  I'm up to five on my VIP but haven't had a ton of time to add more (and I'm leaving way more time between coats than on my alder j-bass project).

How's the balance on your shoulder?  Korina's a lighter wood and I understand bubinga is pretty heavy.
 
Thanks! It balances okay, but its right on the edge of having neck dive. If my straps weren't as rough as they are I might have issues. I also play with my basses slung kinda low...not sure how that affects balance, if at all. I ended up with 6 coats of truoil.
