Cat Lovers

This thread is funny, While I grew up a dog lover/ cat hater, I realized a few years ago that cats are better, and heres why, they don't need constant attention like dogs do, in fact they don't care for it at all.

you can put a weeks worth of food out for a dog and go on a weeks vacation, and upon returning the dog will have been hungry for 6 days, the cat won't even know you were gone.

My biggest complaint, the cats need a scratching post and the grills of my amps must be fun to scratch for cats....someday I'm gonna start a thread on how to replace the fabric on the front of an amp, I'll be asking "HOW"

CB that's a big cat.............Wow

When dogs stare at you, it's because they love you. When cats stare at you, it's because they're thinking "Okay, how can I eat this thing?"

I'll admit, I'm pretty ambivalent about cats, but the ladyfriend's cat has an almost psychotic attraction to me.

I had a cat once.

that's it i don't know what happened to it :icon_scratch:

We've had dogs too, four newfoundlands, three of them just got too old, and died, the other one went to England

Now we have to dogs, a Deer hound called Senga and a Deer hound/Great dane cross called Geordie (his real name was Gilligan but we didn't like that).

My cat loves scratching the grill cloth on my Mesa 4x12.  Fortunately it's very tough... she's only made a couple marks.

CB, that kitty is a monster!  You could slip a disk trying to move him out of your guitar case.

Strictly a dog person myself (nice mastiff you got there, CB!). I always feel like cats just tolerate human presence in order to take advantage. Dogs may be dumb, but they are sincere. Full disclosure: I'm one of those people indifferent to cats, to whom all cats seem to be totally attracted. I once had a cat take a dumperoo on my pillow because she liked me so much. Another one attacked me in my drunken sleep (seriously).

I find understanding the many moods and demands of a cat can be a wise pointer to that other confusing species that comes from Venus!

But now I am the proud owner of a southern flying squirrel.  :rock-on:
Serious?? Sound cool!!!

I've been thinking in buy a cat, but I fear that it would die soon  :sad1:
I don't take care not even of ME...

CB, your cat is huge, and completely awesome.

I love that cats are so emotional and finicky. They all have such different personalities, and if one is gonna like you, you really have to know that cat.

I love cats, they taste just like chicken.  :laughing7:

Well here is one of 3 cats in my house.
My ES-355 is getting a good once over by Buster the cat.

Earl isn't really THAT big... his (late) adoptive brother Maurice-Eley was huskier

REESEMO.jpg

Rees'mo tipped in at 26lbs, and was not really the lardbut that suggests.  For instance, his head was twice the circumference as the rest of my cats, and his paws fully twice as wide (pad to pad) as Earls.  They called him "puppy-paws" at the Vets.

ok then...
here's mine.. she is called "poes" and likes Stratocasters.. I'll take a better picture soon

Aww, he's so furry.  I like his tiny paws.

...sorry, I just really like cats.  :tard:

Threadnomancy!

I'm adopting two cats on this Saturday...

The white is male about 1-2 years old, has fungus infection now and was beaten by dogs ¬¬ The place call him Dumbledore, I'm thinking in call him Herr Totenkopf as he is very thin now (I'm really bad with names and, believe it, it was the nicier name I could think)... He was really cute and needing when I went there the other weekend. Was his first day at the place... This weekend he (and all other cats) were nervous, as they had about 5 new cats in that room and was visiting day, plenty of people making noisy... So he wanted to keep on his corner alone, as you can see on pics...

The white-grey is a girl and 4-5 months old, she is tiny and shy, but really cute... They call her Yasmim, she came with 11 others female cats from a very very poor home... I couldn't think in a decent name, all I could think was cute and linked with "tiny", but she shall have a nonsense name too! They're my cats! :laughing7:

I've never had a cat and am feeling just like a teenager going to his first date with a beautifull girl: ancious and a bid fearing...

strangely enough, I like my cats, but then they like me. they follow me around like a dog would (most cats, however, really don't seem to give a rip). I don't care for other people's cats. I don't know why. Most other cats I would suggest this for: http://www.ding.net/bonsaikitten/gray.html http://www.ding.net/bonsaikitten/bkmethod.html
