Carving an Eagle Body Strat

Just got the email telling me that my blank is on the way!! Check out the clay study I did in preparation for the real thing. I know what I will be doing for the next several weekends.

Wow that is pretty crazy looking. I love how the eagle looks like its coming down on prey, talons out. We love pics here, so keep us updated.

Can I ask .... Is this a thicker slab of wood, so you can carve that into it ?

I think it's looking very cool, but I'd keep the strat contour and do the carving over it. Believe would look even cooler!

It's a PRS Private stock .. well out of my range...  they did do a nice job .. you think they;d find a better switch placement....
