Candy Turquoise/Ocean Turquoise?

Hi all,

In my constant bass building on Warmoth's site, I recently came across 'Candy Turquoise' as a finish. I've always wanted an Ocean Turquoise Metallic bass, but does anyone know if Candy Turquoise is the same as OTM?

Also, this is an excuse to post pictures of Candy Turquoise and Ocean Turquoise guitars and basses...thanks!

It doesn't appear that they're even close, other than being shades of blue. But, it's tough to go by fancy names and different manufacturers have different interpretations of what is being described, so it's tough to say. But, here's a contrast between Suhr's Ocean Turquoise Metallic and Warmoth's Candy Turquoise...

I personally think the Warmoth part looks better, but that's not to disparage the Suhr part - it's very attractive, too. But, it seems to have a bit more green in it.

I dig both colors but, I don't know why either of them is being called "turquoise."

Look at several Candy Turquoises in the showcase.  Could be the lighting, but I've seen a few that looked like a Candy version of Lake Placid Blue.
