Nice score on the body & nice repair, much better than to fill. I googled images for the
colors the copper looked more candy apple red, I vote purple. Good luck on the build

it does look alot like candy apple red but when it he light hits it the right way you can see the orange.

I do love the single pickup configuration on a Cabronita. Especial the PowerTron Plus.
There is something about a single pickup configuration that is special. I'm not sure if it's because there is no magnetic pull from the front pickup or because of the extra wood causing it to ring better but they rock hard. I did one but used a Strat body and it is a mean little machine.

This is making me miss my old SG Jr. sooo much. You are right, Tonar, a single pickup guitar rocks all night long! Now, I'm thinking about a Cabro project, mahogany body, trans brown, black/white/black pickguard, mahogany Warmoth2 neck, trans brown with a black painted headstock face...

I have a firebird underway that will have purple frost finish, flame maple tele neck, fralin tele bridge, fralin strat middle and lollar mini hum in the neck. . . . .plus JTV variax electronics cobbled into it. I have not seen the body yet so at least seeing a guitar with purple frost made my day. Thanks!

Found one. Sorry for the less than stellar picture quality.

Tuners will be replaced with chrome ones. Grease Bucket wiring. ABM 3256 bridge. Powertron Plus.

its been a long time since I have posted here. Thought I would update how the cabronita turned out. I havent taken any recent pics but all and all not too bad.
