Thanks....the wkammy is killer...I am really surprised how well it performs for a fulcrum system.  It lacks the range of my Kahlers but has a much better feel than the Floyds I have played.

The graphite nut and planet wave tuners really keep it in tune too.  I put some small rubber stoppers on the underside to protect the finish in the event my son  gets a little aggressive when pulling it up.

Maybe this has been addressed in another thread already, but how did your son like the guitar?

He loved it!!!  I put it in an Epiphone case and wraped it for Christmas.  He was jazzed that he was getting and Epi but even more thrilled when he realized what he actually got.  Of course he love the whammy and color but it is the neck that he really appreciates.
