body ground

Just wondering if someone could tell me if your claw is grounded to a pot should you still add a body ground to a pot when using gen 4 noiseless pick ups? Would appreciate your thoughts.

Not usually.

If your guitar has a pickguard, a body cavity ground eliminates static electricity which would cause annoying noises.
