Hello everyone.  This is my first post and my first custom order from Warmoth.

I custom ordered a black korina solidbody.  I was nervous... I wanted to clear coat it, but of course I didn't know exactly what I'd get.

All I can say is...WOW.

Thank You Warmoth!

WOW, that is a stellar piece of korina. I would suggest black grain fill and clear.... :headbang:

That is truly a beautiful piece of wood.  I have to agree with the black grain fill and clear coat.

That's a beauty.  I may not even fill the grain.  Satin finish and let that wood shine!

Believe me black grain filler would be the bomb, but use clear in the orangy parts..... :icon_thumright:

Very sweeeet piece of BK  :icon_thumright:
I'm postin' here so I can stay tuned to its further adventures...
:rock-on:

It's a solid body.  Here's the back:

I'm planning to oil finish it (Boiled Linseed / Beeswax mix).  Just waiting for less humidity.

Sigh....Still awaiting the next shipment of that wood for mine (Matt is going to let me know)....I hope mine looks as good as that! Looking forward to seeing this one come together, lovely.

Wow is right, that's gotta some insane figure and it's not even wet. Am so glad to see its a rear route, thats gonna look awesome.

Someone said oil finish, Pure Tung Oil might work, I know it works well on maple necks, not sure about Korina body, maybe =CB= will chime in here about that.
