Their Satin neck finish is Nitrocellulose, I say that not because I beleieve it better or worse, but with use it turns glossy and is also non-UV proof.  The darker portions of the Maple figuring will become darker with sunlight exposure.  Nitro is also a thinner finish so the tuner reams are actuall the size ordered instead of that size and thick layer of Poly applied.
