Got me thinkin', "Hey, I've got a beater strat I'm planning on refinishing.... maybe I'll do this!"

What do you guys think would be the best way to go about finishing a project like that? More specifically... what would be the best way to adhere the labels and then clear coat?

WOW, great finish on that one! Search for the "Green Paisley Tele" project (multiple threads) and the "sheet music decoupage" thread, those are two which give lots of details on that type of finish. Too much PITA for me.

Adhere the labels with a photo adhesive spray.

My thoughts exactly.  Be sure to use labels from good beers!  I think my fiance would just put Guinness logos all over it.
