WOW!

After 5 years it is over, and I must say they ended it very well.  I have been a hugh BSG fan since I say the miniseries 6 years ago.  One of the best shows on TV.

What am I gonna DVR on friday nights now!  :icon_scratch:

It has all happened before and it will all happen again...

I felt the same way when Babylon 5 ended.  I hear Battlestar is fricken awesome, but I haven't seen it at all.  I think I'll rent it though because 2 of my best friends just started with the dvds, and they're saying it rocks.

Doctor Who is really good too, another one I want to rent so I can see it from the beginning.

Anyone remember the original?  Face, I mean Dirk Benedict, as Starbuck.  Ahhh the ole days of TV...  I love how the Dalek's voices in Dr. Who are basically a mic through a ring modulator.  The Dr, Who theme song is awesome on so many levels.  And I still love the campy humor of Farscape, just wish the DVD's didn't cost a mint.

I have most of Red Dwarf on dvd.  I love that show.  Especially the Backwards episode and the Better Than Life episode.

I think I might need to start watching BSG.  Yeah Netflix.

and....

Red Dwarf rules! :)  Any early episode with Ace Rimmer kicks ass. :)  That and just the cat in general.

This season was a bit depressing , but I liked the "ending"  . ..of course then the announce the new season .. BSG from the Toaster side ...

Rd Dwarf was a riot , I watched it when it was first on .. Dr.Who is great .. been a fan since this series started .. I think in many ways it is better than the original .  The Stargate series were good, I was disappointed Atlantis ended so soon, but I guess there are only so many plotlines...

Dollhouse is starting to get interesting , The Sarah Connor Chronicles are hit and miss,Fringe is entertaining. Primeval was as well ..

I really liked that show Threshold, but it got cancelled before we really got to figure out what was going on with it.  It was scary!

Greywolf - No, no. They're doing a one-off movie from the cylon's side. They actually started auctioning off all the props after they finished filming it. It's done. They are creating a spinoff about the pre-war life. Not sure what to think about that, though. The finale was a good send-off. Very sad, but then again, that's life, eh?

I agree about Dollhouse. I was almost ready to give up on it, but this last episode was much, much better.

I gave up on Sarah Connor Chronicles several months ago after the episode where they're trying to protect two people with the same name (one was a little kid, the other at a military school). The terminator was after them because their names and information were in the phone book....umm...why would an eight year old and a teenager at a boarding school be in the phone book?????
The show lost all credibility for me, and I couldn't bring myself to watch it again.

Fringe is pretty good, if not a bit... Pavlovian...predictable.

I'm also very sad to see Lost go. We still have a season left, but...Lost and BSG ending within a year of each other, and no shows have jumped up to take their place yet.

I agree that it is a bit predictable, but I still like it.
I tried to watch a new series (forgot the title) about a guy that basically reads facial expressions and based on that would solve crimes.. now that was really predictable and repetitive. or how about Ghost whisperer... same formula over and over  :tard:

I tend to like shows that nobody else likes :)
I think TrueBlood was one of the best things on tv for a while, and I also like Supernatural.
Another good show I would like to see again is 'Eureka' on the Sci-fi channel.. not sure if it got canceled.

I hate my television, and the way it stares at me....

since I got a dvr about 4 years ago, I never have to watch live tv again, or commercials.. so that improved my love/hate relationship with tv :)
downside is that I keep on missing out on good new shows.

My favorite show was Pushing Daisies.  I was so mad when it got cancelled, especially because it actually had a lot of viewers.  They just get rid of everything that's not an instant smash hit.

except "Wings" and "Scrubs"  Scrubs was never funny IMO.

I watched the new BTG once and was dissapointed there were no space shipps or laser guns or robots like in a REAL Sci-Fi tv show.

It was a predictable retarded cliche ending.  The ragtag band of humanity ends up on earth (our earth) and brings consciousness to our pre-lingual mankind 150,000 years ago.  I mean really, I was laughing.  The could've ended it another way, ala Dallas, where the whole thing was a dream. Lame cliche, the knuckle head writers ran out of ideas and realized they had to end it.

If you want a good show, find it's always sunny in philadelphia, that show's mean and nasty and always gets me rolling.

You mean they didn't throw in the Statue of Liberty sticking out of the sand just for laughs?
