My only experience for a while were the EMG selects that I have in one of my guitars.. they are a budget version of the EMGs and the worst pickups on the planet!
on the other Hand, the David Gilmour's in Lukes strat sound amazing!!!!

The Lukes that I have on my other strat really sound amazing.

I really like the way that headstock looks. I've been jonesing for a Pau Ferro neck... now it's worse. Gonna have to pull the trigger pretty soon, or I'm liable to do something stupid, like pay bills.

Then I won't mention how good it feels to play on.  :icon_biggrin:

It's a Warmoth finished Gold Top Gold strat with a Warmoth Goncalo Alves neck/fingerboard  Pickguard from Pickguard Heaven.  The custom DangerousR6 neck plate was designed by my daughter Becca.  Photos taken by Becca's good friend Lindsay.

it seems that each month there are more and more entries.  Do you guys think more folks are buying w's or more are finding this site?

I still think it's in poor spirit to vote for yourself.
Plus, of course you want your own guitar to win, the question is how does everyone else feel about it.

I don't see any problem to it. If you entered, it says you think yours is the best choice. Do you suppose Barack and Michelle Obama voted for McCain in the last presidential election? <grin>

Of course, this is a little different, in that you don't know what all the entries will be. It's entirely possible somebody could enter something that you do think is better than your entry. In that case, to keep a clear conscience, you'd have to vote for that. I'm sure if Kim Jong-Il would have been in the last presidential race, Barack and Michelle would have voted for him, since he'd have clearly been the far superior candidate.

It would be pollworthy to find out how many people do or do not vote for their own entry. On one hand I'd be very tempted to vote for someone elses entry - there are some very very good one's this month - but on the other hand ending up vith zero votes is a real bummer. On the third hand, knowing the only vote is your own would still hurt. I'd have voted for the banjo if he'd entered that...

I'd believe the owner vote doesn't count, so therefore you'd still nobody voting on your guitar... :laughing7:
