oh, here's a question for those of you who don't get snow for Christmas:

HOW DO YOU SURVIVE?!?!?

I'm in spain... it's about 30 degrees(celsius) warmer here than in Norway... I'll manage :redflag:

I'm such a greedy bastard that I want only money, and I know that i'll get. The only thing is that I actually don't GET the money, but I get to LOAN a shitload from my parents :icon_tongue:

It seems every year at this time most people get it all wrong.  Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Santa Claus.

And most people don't even know the true story of Santa.  For one thing, Santa Claus is a woman.  World geography is the proof.  We have Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica etc.  The male equivalent is San, as in San Salvadore, San Diego, San Ramon, San Francisco, San Jose.

San Claus probably stays home and drinks while his wife Santa is out doing all the work.  Or maybe San Claus is the guy who dresses up in all the malls while his wife is hard at work making the toys back in the workshop.  I don't have it all figured out yet, but I'm hoping there will be a wikileak that confirms my suspicions.   :icon_jokercolor:

Whatever your belief, happy holidays to everyone and lets hope the New Year brings all the joy that everyone deserves.

Well, I've not known what to think about Santa/St. Nick/Cringle/The big fat guy for most of my life. there are so many cool attributes to the person, and so many that are all twisted by commercial America.

My mother picked up this from the library, and I say, "If this guy doesn't know the demeaner of the proper Santa, nobody does".  :icon_jokercolor:

I remember when I got my first delay machine (an Echoplex) I was the same way. Just a fascinating device and effect that was no end of entertainment. I don't think anything since has brought me so much concentrated joy.

totally better than the old versions, and I'm usually a big skeptic of remastering. Sounds like they recorded it yesterday, but it still is totally vintage Beatles at the same time.

Last night I ordered a silver Boogie Rail

and Graph Tech String Saver saddles

I think I spent nearly 45 minutes debating on the all black vs 'classic' string savers (chrome with the material just on the string contact area)
