From what I have seem it looks and sounds killer.  I like the ibanez as an option between epiphone and gibson....playes better than an epi....cost a lot less than a gibby....

This model has all the features and construction of a 355...but with a LP style.  would look killer with a bigsy...

I do like the looks of that Ibanez...
I have read some comments about the nut and the pickups, but those can all be changed.
Be sure to post a review if you get one.

what did you hear?  I was planning on replacing with some p-90s or Rick copies...but nor sure.  I also was considering adding a bigsby...

I wish WARMOTH had a better selection of hollow bodies...The one they have now is just to MASSIVE!!!!

We had these in our store and they are pretty good. The big bodied ones are alot more poopy. I don't think they necessarily play better than an Epi though. Epiphones are generally very good guitars

It was just a review that I read on Harmony Central.

http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Ibanez/AGS83/10/1

Read the first review under sound.  This guy mentions that they have a plastic nut, which could easily be replaced.
He also makes some comments about the pickups.  But hey, to each their own.
The second guy mentions that there is apparently an older model that has some better components,  I looked on fleabay and all I found was the new one.
Every review I read mentions that this is a really good geetar for the price range.
I think it would look great with a Bigsby, but then I like anything with a Bigsby...
Good luck...

Though not a guitar, I had one of their Artcore basses.  Coincidentally, I became quite familiar with the Artcore guitars.  There are an excellent deal for the price.

OUR STORE>>>can you hook me up?

When comparing to the Epiphones...I was referring to those on the lower price point...<$500...like the dots...I have played them and was not real impressed.  The higher end models for Epi are a real nice choice if you have the cash.  I have been looking at some low prices ones on ebay...Ibanez...Epi...Samick...carlos roballe and moding it with PUs and bigsby

It's not a hollow body, but if I were to buy an Iby it would be this.... :icon_biggrin:

Never been one for big bodied guitars, but I do have one of these..Washburn RR150 signed by Sammy.... :icon_biggrin:

I am going to NYC tomorrow with my two sons...I figured we would spend some time going thru all the music store there.

I have also been considering one of these to mod...really afraid of playing something I have never played...

I've got a full hollow body Ibanez (AF75). It has a few minor issues I need to address but overall I like it a lot. At one point I didn't think it sounded all that great, but my nephew was playing it one night and I realized the guitar sounds pretty good... so it must be ME that sucks...

And yes, I removed the packing material from under the bridge right after I took that photo...

that what I was thinking...Hell a bigsy and the vibramate will cost me $150-200...
I know the bbigs that it comes with is the B50 not the B5 (die cast vs sand cast) but how different can they be?

I was mostly concerned about the AGILE guitar itself...anyone with experience here....$375 is a killer price...

Not really any difference in die cast and sand cast, virtually the same thing. I've read a lot of reviews of Agile and most seem to like them.. :dontknow:

All the music stores in NYC? In one day? I couldn't hit 1/2 of the music stores in the Detroit area in one week, so I guess I should feel sorry for NYC dwellers. But, say "hello" to Manny for me <grin>

just the 4-5 stores on 48th.  I think Sam Ash bought out Mannys.  Should be a fun time.  Will spend most of the time looks at guitar/bass and live recording stuff

That's better. And have fun! I'll bet they don't screw around in those stores, either - if it exists, they'll have it.
