definitely way over priced! you can buy a strat with more figuring and your own routes for less than that. i remember seeing that one a while ago, not surprised it's still floating around on ebay

I saw that some time back. Don't know what the guy thinks he has there, but at that price and shipping rate it's going to stay there for a very long time.

That said, eBay's a weird place. I've seen lotsa stuff go for more than it would cost new. Not everybody knows how to do research. In fact, I'd say few people do. Then, there's the impatience factor, and the "You ain't gonna outbid me, dammit!" factor <grin>

Another example is this Bubinga neck up for sale. Nice piece, but you can have Warmoth build you a brand new one with gold frets and a TUSQ nut for $332. What makes this guy think anybody's gonna pay $325 + shipping for this one with the grungy frets and a corian nut?

Well according to the listing, it has easy access on the lower honk!  You won't get great honk access on a fender strat!  And that flame is CRAZY! WOO HOO!
