We’re getting E-Bikes for the grandkids for Christmas so they can go on the trails with us when we’re camping. My granddaughter’s was easy, found the perfect one in the color she wanted, but my grandson saw a cool mini bike looking one and wanted Orange like Papa’s. Well nobody has orange, so I got a black one and am painting it Hugger Orange from the 69 Camaro. I swore I would never use 2K again, but here we go. The things we do for our kids/grandkids. I just hope I can get it back together……😳

I guess it’s nice to be able to use my guitar finishing stuff for other things though.

Hugger Orange !

This is one of my favorite “Orange” pictures. An ad from a 1969 Hot Rod magazine for the 69 Hugger Orange Camaro and the Monaco Orange Corvette. The model is the young Bo Derek !

Love it !!

I had a 68 Camaro I built a 427 for in high school and always wanted to paint it Hugger Orange, but every spare dollar I had at the time went for the motor, so I settled for Gruesome Grey…..

Same story here. Bought my friends built 68 Camaro in 1972. Every dollar went into the car. Could not afford paint, so it was rattle can primer the entire time I owned it. I dropped a 402/375 into it.

Awesome ! Hey, when we’re high school kids using our summer job money you got to prioritize. And HP was always the priority (well, and a kick ass stereo)……
😁

My father had a ’68 Camaro SS in Hugger Orange with a black interior. He was always proud of the hood with, I think, the 8 4/4 air vents. I drove it to my high school graduation. It was supposed to be mine when I grew up, but I disowned them and left the area.

Dang, that would have been awesome. Sorry about the falling out.

Jeez, I couldn’t afford color film back then. :ROFLMAO:

This was the small block that was in it when I bought it from my buddy. He got 13.5s out of it. With the big block I got it to 12.5s.

Ha ha, good ol’ Polaroid…. Mine had a 454 in it when I got it, and I promptly threw a rod. So I built a 427 from a bare block. Had over 600 HP and ran in the mid 10’s at the track with slicks. Fun times !!!

It won't go back together properly.
