So, after some waiting for supplies I was finally able to get to work on my first build. I'm super excited with how it's turning out so far.
Waiting on a couple more parts I forgot about, but here's a body shot. Now I can see how these builds can become addictive, haha.

Yeah! That is really outstanding. I like this finish a lot.  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Dog-hair ??? I love this !
Been itching to try on a test piece of ash for yet another future build idea...

Thanks for all the kind words, I am beyond excited with how well this is turning out. I already have a few ideas for future builds, I may have a problem, haha. I've been trying to come up with a better name than Dusty Dirnt(the two signature basses that inspired this). I was thinking something related to Type O Negative given the color scheme, I'll have to look over their songs to see if something stands out. Can't wait to finish this, but I'll have a good long wait to get the DiMarzio Model P I have on order.

Finally done! With DiMarzio being located in New York and likely not sending out anything until the middle of June at the soonest, I decided to put use a Seymour Duncan SPB-2. This is already my favorite playing bass.

Maple neck and fretboard with swamp ash body, Schaller tuners and bridge, SPB-2 pickup, DR Neon Strings(had to see how it looked), and 920D wiring harness.

I also settled on name, I present to you, Nettie.
