LOL...that's hilarious...

Could have shooped together a more, er, exotic body piercing, but this is an all-ages venue.

Hehe! I had the same thought.

Headstock definitely needs the attentions of a jigsaw or routerbeast.

Its an ear. After I threw it together I realized it was more ambiguous than I likes.

Here is a mock up.  I am really happy with the lines.  I also attached a few strings and tested the tom-stop at its highest point.  It turn out the recessed STOP piece was not needed and there was enough break at the bridge with it flush on the guitar.  I do think it looks cool and further adds to the custom look.

I added some timber mate since the recess was done using a chisel.  It will be nice and smooth for paint.  Kind of pointless since it will never be seen but I figured it was worth taking care of.

The Warmoth neck is great.  Standard thin profile with a 1 3/4 nut for the 12 strings.  It feels great.  This should be a very easy playing 12..... :cool01:

The aqua flake will be next.  I am still working on a pattern.

sneak peak....still wet.  Ocean Aqua flake over Silver flake.  It really creates a lot of movement when the viewing angle is changed.

Wow. That's really turning out nice! Kudos to you - metal flake isn't easy to do well, and that looks professional.

:laughing8:

ok, yea that's better.

Thanks.  Going to hit with some clear this weekend which will get sanded down.  This helps bury the flake.  I will then ad waters slide decal and spray the final clear coats

Silver hardware on this one, of course
