I think I've said that before, but I'd really like to see Warmoth offer those Baretta bodies. Some may say it's just a Strat, but that's not true. The old ones almost look like they put a Strat into Photoshop and used the 'warp' function and stretched it here and there. Those old Baretta bodiea...

You're absolutely correct. These old muscle cars are a bit like hot rodded Strats and Teles and today's plastic cars are a bit like Ibanez (sorry Ibanez lovers :) )

Thank you, thank you, thank you ! Muscle cars were definitely an inspiration. Always loved those vintage car colors. Blue pickups would absolutely be killer, but 'unfortunately' I'm using Suhr pickups and two FL Classic singlecoils and a DSV humbucker for the bridge go in there and Suhr...

Thanks very much ! White was another choice of mine, but I hate it when they yellow over the years. Might look cool on a vintage styled guitar, but this one is vintage styled from another decade where yellowing doesn't work too well IMHO :) . I wished Warmoth's Daphne Blue would have been a tiny...

Thanks ! Yeah, she asked to be in the picture to prove that she's still ok after one night of no pictures posting :). In reality the neck looks just incredible. It's impossible (at least for me) to show how 3D it really looks. Yeah...color is definitely a taste thing. I can't really get myself...

Well...it's been a while deciding the exact features and all, but today I received it  ! All custom build: Alder Strat SSH body with Schaller Floyd (yes, I prefer it over the originals), side jack, contoured heel, daphne blue Flame maple neck, dark rosewood fretboard, 6100 frets, wolfgang...

I ordered a custom neck and body, both finished and the neck even having a matching peghead on the 8th of October. Just got off an email to someone at W, telling me that my order is ready to ship. That's 7 weeks, so right inbetween their estimated 6-8 weeks  :headbang:
