    My new tele

The redeemer is a definite for me now. I can't stand to play on anything that doesn't have one. And they've lowered the price to $49 now....... so..... there's no reason not to try one. The difference is amazing.

    My new tele

Not too many. I've heard YJM, gibson burstbuckers or whatever they're called; I've even heard a tone zone in the neck. But I guess I just am satisfied enough with the air norton that I don't go to anything else. It has a nice glassy tone that I like.

    My new tele

The air norton has been the only neck pickup I've ever really liked. I tried a paf pro... it's collecting dust now. I was worried about the bridge not having too good of harmonics, but it is almost as good as my evo2. The coffin case is just left over from when I through marilyn manson and...

Fender vintage style string through bridge

Any idea where to find one of these? I know one exists because fender put it on the signature mark hoppus bass. I just can't find anywhere to order parts from fender and I have no other ideas. I'm wanting to build a warmoth bass... but I want a vintage style string through bridge for it first...

Weird metallic resonating sound when playing hard

Wow, I just tried holding my hand over the strings before the nut and played... and that's exactly what it is. I feel like an idiot now. Is there any other alternative/fix until I get trees?

Weird metallic resonating sound when playing hard

I have a warmoth tele (warmoth pro wizard neck and chambered alder body) and I notice that when I play chords or single notes slightly harder than normal it makes a ringing sound that lasts a second or two after I mute the strings. It seems like its coming from the trussrod. Has anyone ever had...

How to wire dimarzio p and j models together

I might do that in the future when I route more of the body (I'm putting a redeemer in it and I'm going to try to fit 2 9volts in the control cavity) so I can have push pull switches. But all in all I think it's going to be an awesome bass.

How to wire dimarzio p and j models together

Awesome, thanks. I never thought about looking at seymour duncan; didn't know there were actually sets of p and j made to be sold together. But thanks again man.

How to wire dimarzio p and j models together

I have a jazz bass with dimarzio model j in bridge and model p in neck. I cannot find anything about how to wire jazz humbuckers up. I'm wiring it up with 1 volume for each pickup and 1 tone knob. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Dimarzio push pull tele wiring questions

I think I'd want the middle tapped; the air norton already has a glassy tone to it. So basically... 5-way switch n/nm/m/mb/b, volume/pushpull tap bridge and middle, and tone. Thanks for the help and telling me what isn't possible.

Dimarzio push pull tele wiring questions

Aye, I know I want to tap at least the bridge pickup. Are you saying that the push pull with tap 2 pickups seperately (like they would both be theoretically coil tapped, but which ever is selected by the switch is the only one that is sounding) or the 2 pickups have to be active at the same time...

Dimarzio push pull tele wiring questions

I'll probably opt for just a 5 way switch like dbw said, and just have one push-pull pot for coil tapping all of them. I'm just going for the widest range of sounds possible since I spent all my money on my warmoth neck and pickups heh. Can anyone think of a good use for a concentric pot? And...

Dimarzio push pull tele wiring questions

I did think about doing the neck+bridge but I want to have the true sound of each pickup available and I wouldn't be able to have just the middle pickup if I did it like that.

Dimarzio push pull tele wiring questions

I'm currently in the process of making my tele. It's going to have 3 dimarzio humbucking pickups in it: virtual hot t (tele), virtual vintage solo (single coil), and air norton (humbucker). I'm thinking of using a 3-way switch so that each position will have one pickup active. I want to use a...
