    New Tele Partscaster

I haven't posted in awhile, but I thought I'd share the partscaster I just completed. this is the first one that I used a prefinished body on, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I finished putting this together and setting it up late last night. I played it for about an hour this...

Finished my second Tele...this is getting addictive.

The control plate was from All Parts, easy to find on ebay. The knobs were just a one-off thing from some guy selling them on ebay. I really like the knobs but can't seem to find any more like these. I wanted to buy a few extra since they were inexpensive and look good enough for future use.

A few more daylight pics to give you guys a better idea of the color. I really want to build + finish another tele in wudtone's faded fiesta red, but that'll have to wait for a while.

That's a trait of the Wudtone finishes. You should check out their website. They're on the more pricey side for oil based stains but it's well worth the cost i think. Definitely going to use their stuff again.

Thanks guys. I forgot to resize the pics for this website, will do that soon so you're not subject to the jumbo sized pics.

Finished my second Tele...this is getting addictive.

I completed my very first build in January this year and this one's my second. I decided to go a more traditional route this time. I've had a good amount of playing time since I finished it late on Thursday night and I'm super pleased wth this guitar. I haven't been able to weigh it but it's the...

Got Most of My Parts For My First Build! *FINISHED*

I purposely let the stain sink into the holes so it would darken the insides more. I kind of like the way the holes look right now without the ferules. Also, given that I would need to force the ferules in, I don't want to risk the finish for something that isn't required since the strings are...

    First Warmoth. Rosewood top Jazzmaster

That Rosewood body looks really good. My body and neck shipped separately because I ordered them separately, but they also pack them in different ways to optimize protection. The neck comes in a special triangular tube.

Got Most of My Parts For My First Build! *FINISHED*

Thanks! A friend of mine once said sometimes all a girl needs is a simple black dress with the correct accessories to go with it :) Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can enter this guitar in GOM because 1. The body I got was unfinished but the neck was finished, even though minimally so (nitro clear...
