Thanks everyone! I have to confess, I haven't logged on in a while and this is definitely an unexpected honor! I've worked on a couple of builds since but haven't had the time to post them yet...will do that asap!
The control plate was from All Parts, easy to find on ebay. The knobs were just a one-off thing from some guy selling them on ebay. I really like the knobs but can't seem to find any more like these. I wanted to buy a few extra since they were inexpensive and look good enough for future use.
A few more daylight pics to give you guys a better idea of the color. I really want to build + finish another tele in wudtone's faded fiesta red, but that'll have to wait for a while.
That's a trait of the Wudtone finishes. You should check out their website. They're on the more pricey side for oil based stains but it's well worth the cost i think. Definitely going to use their stuff again.

I purposely let the stain sink into the holes so it would darken the insides more. I kind of like the way the holes look right now without the ferules.
Also, given that I would need to force the ferules in, I don't want to risk the finish for something that isn't required since the strings are...
That Rosewood body looks really good. My body and neck shipped separately because I ordered them separately,but they also pack them in different ways to optimize protection. The neck comes in a special triangular tube.
