I would go with roasted maple. IT is cheaper more stable and you wont have to get nitro off the frets.

The neck is kingwood fretboard and canary neck

so this is build #3 or 1 of 5 depending on when i get around to putting it all together

You could go old school on it. Torch the maple and sand back to bring out the flame.

was thinking of going with GFS vintage gold foil or Seymour Duncan antiquities.

i am from that area also cheapest i have found is 600 for a stainless refret. check these guys out online Aperio Guitar.com they chrage 365 for a stainless refret with nut replacement if needed.

update lowered the pickups all the way, remounted the neck, remounted the bridge and changed strings. Still the same so i dropped it off to be checked out at a local music shop.

Hi all, i can not get the low E on my strat with a 24 3/4 conversion neck to intonate. I have removed the spring and pulled the saddle all the way back and it still need to go back farther and advise is appreciated. bridge is a vintage strat flat mount with graphtech string saver saddles

your in luck i just finished assembling a my strat give me a bit and i will clean it up and take a picture. The video and graphic are both wrong. the camera is close but it is a bit more green tint in real life.
