I'm done with my build and I had to make a Goncalo Alves pickguard to match the Warmoth Neck which is all Goncalo Alves.  I used true oil on the pickguard and it became a very close match to the neck.  I don't know what Warmoth uses to finish the neck but they say that the neck doesn't need...
