+1 on Nordstrand! I just had my first gig with my new fiver. the Nordstrand MM5.2 blew me away!

I drilled two holes for the screws, and freehand cut the hole for the blade with a Dremel. I don't recommend doing it that way though, because it looks pretty bad up close... I was in a hurry and needed to make the hole with whatever I could find in the garage. The black paint covers it up a...

Thanks! hehe. Maybe that's why it doesn't work properly? =b To be more specific. It did work, but there was almost no signal at all. It functioned, but sucked out 90% of the volume. I'm guessing it's just me who soldered it crappy... I'm not to skilled on the whole DPDT thingamabob, but I know...

It's finished. Had some problems with the wiring (I F'ed up the 3-way switch, so it's temporarily out of the circuit), and the finish could have been done better. But all in all, I'm very happy, and I've learned a LOT. Especially about woodwork. Hopefully my next build will be much better ...

Yup! We had some trouble finding out what a complete custom made body would cost me, so he would give me a price, and something would happen, or couldn't be done, or would cost too much etc etc, and that went on for one month before we agreed on a price, and what I'd get get for it  :icon_tongue:

Warmoth said 4-6 weeks for me, but they sent it after about 3. It took UPS just a couple of days to get the body and neck to Norway. And just over a week all the way to my door. So you should have it pretty soon :) Hehe. Good customer service alright :) I spent 2 months mailing back and forth...

Tele headstocks are the best looking of the fender heads for sure. Maybe except for those huge heads from the 60's(?)  :) The body is getting primed as we speak. The pores swallowed an insane amount of primer, but I'm starting to get it flat now (on my third can!!). :icon_tongue: I'll upload...

Yeah. I only got a mail from UPS with the shipping number, no mail from Warmoth. They just cleaned out my bank account one morning, and let UPS take it from there. :icon_tongue:

I'm torn between ordering a tele thinline or a L5S as my first Warmoth guitar. You just made up my mind for me :icon_tongue:
