thinking about a carvin custom made guitar.. but i dont like the fact that you have to use their pickups.. seems crazy to shell out big $ for a custom guitar.. then throw out the pickups and pay another 200 for some duncans... also, they have so many variations now.. M22, X22, etc.. and they...

mccabes is great im sure.. but awful pricey.. setup on acoustic is 75 plus strings and week turnaround.. any other suggestions in LA????

you know what would have been nice??? A heads-up.. something like 'we're gonna be raising prices as of 2/3/09. i would have made an order last week.. i bet they would have had a nice rush of business of those who were on the fence like me.. now i can't afford to order :dontknow:

The "Showcase" is simply pieces in stock, correct? meaning that one does not have to wait but they aren't discounted, are they? Im referring to the 'Screaming Deals' link which is on the homepage.. if i wrote showcase i was mistaken...

thanks for setting me straight, guys..

looking at the pictures of the bodies on their website one really can't tell the difference in shape in neck pocket route but ill take your guys' word for it. the problem is there are some already made tele necks on there that are pretty well priced.. im sure if i asked for a custom heel it...

ive got it in my head that i need a tele headstock on a strat body!  :cool01:
