Made a little bit of progress waiting for the neck and hardware. 3 coats of tung oil finish and buffed that out with 0000 steel wool. Conductive paint for the cavities.

Picked this up from an auction site. It’s a 7/8 S style body, recessed tom with arched string through body holes. HxH pickup configuration. Probably do vol vol with a 5-way switch. Hardware will be all black. Pretty confident the top is zebra and the core is mahogany. Sanded out some scuffs...

Picked up a body. Looks like 7/8 S style body Assuming 7/8 written in neck pocket confirms this? Does this limit my neck choices to the 7/8 warhead necks? Thanks

I thought about that one for a while. This is my 3rd Warvin build and didn't really feel like doing the custom decal again, so I went with the gold Warmtoh logo, black one didn't look as nice. To be honest, I've never tried a Warmoth neck  :dontknow:

A little wood glue and the headstock is fine, hated to see the figuring on that maple go to waste.

So of course I needed to buy a body to go with it. I got a charger green soloist from the showcase, found some matching model paint and slapped her together.

I had a Carvin bolt+ that the tip of the headstock broke off in shipping, they were kind enough to just replace the neck and let me keep the old broken one.

Just picked up a showcase body painted charger green. Anyone know what a match would be for that color? I have a neck with a white headstock and I'd like to paint it to match the body. Thanks
