Nah, I bought the body. The big fat Warmoth boatneck really helps the tone. I wanted chrome tuners, but I had a set of black and wanted to keep costs down. Maybe later though.

Finished it a few weeks ago and it really is fun to play. Very lively. It has a pine body finished in vintage amber dye with a truoil finish. The neck is a one piece Warmoth boatneck maple finished with the same vintage amber dye and nitro. I lightly reliced it to give it that "played in...

I agree with Dangerous on this. I own a Martin SWDGT (solid cherry back and sides) and it is one of the sweetest sounding acoustics I've ever played.

I am happy with mine. It does feel silky raw. It gets smoother the more I play it.

The neck looks like it has spent mucho hours being lovingly worked over on a stage in a bar. Great job...it looks like an old heavily played Strat.

My SS frets came on a canary neck and they're fine, no sharp ends at all. I made sure the neck was straight and then bolted it on, let it set under tension and barely had to do any more adjusting. Maybe I was just lucky, but no complaints here....

I don't generally care for guitars with no pickguard, but in this case....that wood needs to show. Super looking guitar there.

Both are gorgeous, but the one on the right is more gorgeous IMHO...
