It is Balanced very well and the zbody shape sits very nicely in your lap and hangs just right off the strap. I mounted my top strap lock on the back of the upper horn vs the tip but probably no difference.

The black limba wood is crazy heavy at least on mine. I have not put it on a scale but I have a chunky Gibson Les Paul that weighs 10.5lb and this zbody feels almost as heavy in the hand when comparing them. She is a beast for sure though. Basswood or alder obviously would be a different story
