Your top 5 beers of all time

Beer is good, you just have defective taste buds.   :icon_biggrin:

+1 or hasn't had the right beer yet.  If you like fruity stuff Lindemans Lambic Framboise (belgium beer), is almost like a rasberry wine with a foamy head.

All beer is nasty. I'm severely limited in my sources of alcohol. Beer is nasty. Most liquor is too. I like sweet red muscadine wine, pear & apple ciders, rum & cider, and some khalua based stuff I've sampled and that's about it. Always thought the Budwiser Clydesdales were the beer factory itself, not just an icon.

BEER ROCKS =) BEER MAKES LIFE WORTH LIVING ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER BEER, ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER DOLLAR, ANOTHER BEER, but i spend my life making CIDER at the local CIDER factory, oooh the irony.

Cheers!

I prefer Guinness.
2 place is probably Hoegaarden and 3rd place "Innis & Gunn"

^ I'll be back with an updated list, when im not drunk on beer and high on life.

I don't touch the stuff, but my wife loves the following, in no particular order:

Boddington's
Taj Mahal lager
Reutberger Export Helle
Lagunitas ale
and believe it or not, Corona with lime

You could say she's an equal opportunity beer drinker.

Peace

Bagman

I never buy 6 packs of Corona or anything, but sometimes when I'm at a Mexican restaurant, with a wedge of lime, it's exactly what I need to compliment the food.

Only with a lime for sure.

I'm just starting with homebrews. MrBeer.com makes it real easy and cheap with fantastic results :icon_thumright:

It looks like you put that in a twist off bottle.  I'm sure you know that is not a good idea.  It's hard to get a good seal.  That one looks good though!

I started with a Mr. Beer too many many many years ago.  You really should move up to the world of the glass carboy and better ingredients.  The Mr. Beer stuff is ok but is usually way more expensive and lower quality than the stuff you can get from a local homebrew place or on-line from Northern Brewer or More beer. Plus, once you start using better malt extracts, hops, fresh grain and liquid yeast it's a whole different ballgame taste wise.

Then of course there's the next step to all-grain. :-)

Awesome btw.  Good luck brewing!!!  It's a dangerous addiction.

Yep, live right by Northern Brewer.  Been shopping there for 10+ years.  Definitely a place to check out http://www.northernbrewer.com/

I've never done an all grain brew.  Have you noticed any difference in taste between an extract and an all-grain?

Here's the next beer I'm going to brew http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewing/bock-extract-kit-2.html

That beer looks good, look at all that lacing on the glass.  Some of the new ones that I tried this year that were exceptional were Chimay blue, Corsendonk Abbey Brown Ale, and Bourbon County.  :icon_thumright:
