Ibanez s style body shape.

More Gecko neck woods.

TV Jones for jazzcaster.

More headstock/body shapes for gecko bass.

7 string inlays on 6 string guitars.

Optional matching wood cover plates.

Something like fender offset special.

Jazzmaster trem route on telecaster bodies.

Thoughts?

What's wrong with the selection of Gecko neck woods?

There are a couple of woods they don't offer for the same reason they don't offer them on other tiltbacks; scarf joints that don't hold up. I know they've refused to do Bloodwood on a few occasions, for that reason.

I'm not sure who would go for a Jazzmaster trem on a Tele, either. Aside from being fugly, the VAST majority of Tele players want a hardtail guitar. The ones that do like trems either want a Bigsby or a Floyd, or something very stable.

Fender is not my favorite brand. Forced to make an overall choice, I would personally go with ESP or PRS. I've only once found a Fender bass that I enjoy, and the opportunity for that is long gone. I don't love fender, and I don't see why so many copy their designs. That said, I love the look of a gecko bass, and the heel is great. So I phrased it wrong, but I want more bodies that are interchangeable with the gecko necks and bodies.

And for the record, I prefer raw to finished necks any day.

Right. There are very few trems that work as poorly as a Jazzmaster/Jaguar unit. It's an absolutely horrid design from any perspective. I can't imagine how stoned out of his gourd Leo had to have been to green-light that part for production and inclusion on what was supposed to be a high-end guitar. I mean, this isn't something from ancient Egypt when they didn't even have flush toilets - this was designed in the US in the '50s. We had airplanes and automobiles and atomic bombs and fun stuff like that. There was no shortage of engineering talent on the planet. So, wtf?

I don't know, but obviously some customers like them...

But you get the point.

The list of people who like to have sex with children, shoot heroin, rob people at knifepoint, drive drunk, and watch reality shows is much, much larger. So... are those all good things, too? I mean, a LOT of people like that stuff, so as long as we're using lists in order to justify things...

If 50,000 people believe a stupid thing, it's still a stupid thing.

The point is that warmoths goal is to make money. Without money, warmoth will not survive. If all those people chose the jmaster trem, then there lies opportunity. I have never had bad experience with a jmaster trem, and I rather like the look. It would be one of my first bridge choices on a jazzcaster.

This should be a bully free zone. Cyber bullying is still bullying. Leave the kid alone already.

Who is cyber-bullying? Doesn't matter who says it, if someone says something questionable, I'm going to argue for why I don't think it's a good idea. That being said, my opinion is not be be followed closely. Everyone has their own opinion, and no one's opinion matters except to them. Conversely, opinions matter quite a bit when the questions of customer bases and sales are involved. I know I'm not the only one that thinks fans of hardtail guitars generally are not fans of unstable trems, so it's worth discussing the topic.
