This partnership appears to have ended, though I'm not sure why. As far as I understand, at Floyd Rose they weren't happy about some things Schaller changed in their production, but the internet seems to be full of speculation about that:

It can be read, for example, that Floyd Rose disapproved the introduction of the cnc-milled saddles offered in different radii, that Schaller took from their own Lockmeister Tremolo. However, Floyd Rose is now offering the same, but made in USA.
I had no idea. I was told by Warmoth in late 2024 that their route was specifically for the German OFRs if Floyd Rose has decided to not make them in Germany, Warmoth may need to adjust.

So like y'all are going to offer pre drilled mounting holes for strat pickguards????

In fact, we just did that on the limited release Last Waltz tributes. Out of the fifteen bodies, we had one customer call and say they wouldn't fit his pickguard.

That was very confusing to me, and I never heard how it turned out. I just can't understand how it was possible.

I think it's because it's holes in pickguards would be more of a custom item. Strat jacks and pickup rings are mass produced to a standard, alot of them made out of metal, so the driller only has to think about one hole to drill in the wood and not think about this mass produced item. Pickguards and plastic you have to think about holes in the pickguard AND the wood. Plus plastic can change based on temperature and moisture (just not as much as wood ....

I think this is a great idea, but just start out small.

Of course, I could be totally wrong, but in my carpentry days (renovating houses) and installing doors in schools, the home renovations were hard, because everything is custom, and at the school everything was mass produced, no custom holes, just matched up perfectly. And if it didn't, who cared, you just jammed it in.
