Hey guys!
After a long time listenning music with bad headphones I've just bought a used Grado SR125 on eBay... The problem is, before I buy it I went to the website of Grado and saw the RS1 (has Mahogany cups) and got really in love by the look of it:

The continuation of the problem is: I've already bought a Flamed Koa 2-7/8" x 2-3/8" x 6-3/4"  blank and I'm thinking in buy a piece of Snakewood log 4" x 3-7/8" x 10" and them decide which one I like better and build a pair of wood cups... There is this page that teaches how do it:

The longer continuation of the problem: I don't have a lathe and don't think I know someone who has one big enough to work this size of wood... and I'd like to have it really accurate, specially if I get the Flamed Koa, because it would be really close to the measures of the blank with the difference I'm thinking to make it look alike the RS1 (mind that the SR125 has a differente profile of the cup and I'd have to improvisate, but I've in mind some ideas that I could drawn)

So, resuming: I would like to know if anyone has a lathe or a CNC that could make it :laughing7:
Help the old nonsense, please!! I could pay it (but not as veeeery much as Headphile ask)
Thanks guys!!

I'm afraid I can't help you nando, but I can tell you you'll love the grados. I've got a pair of sr80's and they are great.  :icon_thumright:
