My EMG 81TW should be here tomorrow and I'm going to run a three way switch running a single coil in neck and the 81 in the bridge. Can I wire it like the diagram below, minus the neck pickup for now (Waiting for the money to order one) and it work? Obviously when the switch is in the neck position nothing will work (I'm assuming) but will the bridge still function in the bridge and middle settings? Being that it's an active pickup I want to make sure it won't need everything connected to complete a circuit or something, I'm fairly certain it won't matter but want to make sure before I do all the soldering only to have it not function? Otherwise I'll just wire it for the single bridge and circumvent the switch until I get the neck pickup to install. I was going to wait until I got both to throw it in, but I can't wait to try the 81 split to see how it sounds.
