Why No Orange?

Why doesn't Dimarzio or Allparts or anyone else make pickups/rings/knobs in orange? Is it somehow extra difficult? I find it hard to believe that pink sells more than orange would.

Just hoping someone may have some idea. Thanks in advance.

some orange plastics will fade to pink with uv exposure and/or time. ever see an old honda dirtbike with the slightly orange red plastics after 10 years? maybe it is an extra cost to get an orange plastic that doesn't fade. at least when pink fades it is light pink and you know what you're getting. people might get mad when there hot orange pickups turn a girly pink color.

Do you want Orange or Hot Orange?

You may be able to dye your own. It's easy and only cost about $1.

*Edit*... What type of hardware, Fender, Gibson...?

I don't necessarily want anything orange, I just noticed that it is the one color that seems to be missing from the palette of accessory colors.

Yah they tried to make orange, but orange is now a owned by Orange Amps... legal hassles and all.  I tried to tell them... just call it yellowish red, or reddish yellow... or "dark vivid peach" or "sunset" or some such stuff... but the lawyers won out.  Then I said, how bout ya just call it Aren'tch, as in Aren'tch ya glad they're not Orange!~>?!!~

I actually think there is more of a market for pink than orange.  There would be no market if not for the Ibanez RG, IMO.
