Or whichever music player you're using. I have an iPod but I'll openly admit that I'm 40 years old and I only went with the iPod because it was the only one I knew about......and iTunes was pre-installed on my computer.

Anyway, there is a guitar mag from the UK called Total Guitar and they have that "What's on your iPod" thing each month with some famous players. So, how about you guys?

My iPod consists of a multitude of different things. Some you'll like and others you'll probably rag on me for. Anyway.....(albums)

There's practically nothing on my mp3 player at the moment, oh and I hate the use of ipod as a generic term for an mp3 player as it shows how mindless people can be if exposed to enough apple propaganda... sorry advertising. ;)

Anyway a couple of weeks ago I got bored of the selection of music I had and wiped my mp3 player so I'm still in the long and boring process of refilling it. Currently my play list is:

A Silver Mt Zion - Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward
Anathema - Eternity
Bass Communion - Molotov And Haze
Between The Buried And Me - Colors
Maetoso - One Drop In A Dry World
Mogwai - Happy Song For Happy People
Russian Circles - Enter
Shels - Sea Of The Dying Dhow
The Mars Volta - The Bedlam In Goliath

Plus I'm adding:

King Crimson - The Power To Believe
Opeth - Blackwater Park
Set Fire To Flames - Telegraphs In Negative / Mouths Trapped In Static

Still a very short list but it'll do for the next week or so.

Nick, how can you listen to like 10 songs all week?  I have about 40GB of music but no iPod.  Maybe I will post a partial list tomorrow.

Alright, smart ass comments aside, I have a puny 2 gig I-pod, yes an actual I-pod (I think they work better than others I have tried, Apple propaganda, notwithstanding) so I change what's on it every two days or so.  Right this second, there is such an array as to make one's head spin.  There is classic jazz (Coltrane, Adderly, Evans, Gillespie), modern, alt country (Lou Ford, Whiskeytown, Jayhawks, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt), Metal (Maiden, Priest, Sabbath), Stoner Metal (Kyuss, Nebula, Fu Manchu), Uber Metal (Nile, Dark Tranquility), Old school country (Cash, Haggard, Patsy Cline), 60's girl groups (Ronettes, The Crystals, Darlene Love, Bridgette Bardot), Proto punk (Mc5, Iggy and the Stooges) punk (The Addicts, the Vibrators, The Dead Boys, Patti Smith), Weirdos (Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits) Blues (Charlie Patton, Lowell Fulson, T-Bone Walker, Johnny Winters, Muddy).  Well, like I said, that's right now.  Tomorrow it will be time to change it all up again.  Tommorrow, I feel some prog, psych, proto-metal, and hard bop coming on....

I use a Sony Walkman. 4gb I think.

A Perfect Circle.
Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Anberlin
Chevelle
Coheed and Cambria
Explosions in the Sky
Filter
Finger Eleven
Kidney Thieves
Lostprophets
Rise Against
Silversun Pickups
Smashing Pumpkins
Stabbing Wesward
Thrice
Tool

And a CBC radio play called Afghanada Season 1,  i need season 2.

Niiiiiiiiice...  I've got selections from "Horses in the Sky" on mine.  My current favorite ASMZ album.

In addition to that, I've got random stuff from Alice in Chains, April Wine, Crowbar, Meshuggah, Devin Townsend, Andy McKee, Silverchair, AFI, The Offspring, Tool, Megadeth...

I know there's a lot more than that, but I generally don't put entire albums on my mp3 player.

It's sad that people like you and I have to preface using an iPod with some sort of explanation. I have an iPod, dammit, I bought it because it was easily accessible, cheaper than the others, and as I said, iTunes was already installed on my computer. I honestly couldn't care less if someone uses an iPod or some other mp3 player and I can't see why people that don't use the iPod feel the need to make it sound degrading to have an Apple product.
