That does sound excellent.

Tomatoes and cinnamon have an affinity for each other that is largely unknown, probably because it's so easy to screw it up. But, the next time you make a marinara or other tomato-based sauce, get out the cinnamon and put just a pinch in your palm, then dump that in the sink. Then, wipe your hands over the pot. That's how little you need. Any more, and you'll probably be sorry. But the difference in the sauce is incredible. You're not supposed to taste the cinnamon, it's supposed to change the tomatoes, and it does; trust me. I'm not sure how it works, but after screwing up several sauces, I finally got it right. It's one of those "ancient grandmother secrets" from Italy that you never hear about.
