would you pair with this body shape.

These are sold on ebay by a guy out of NC. Custom order routed, nitro finished in several colors. $200 bucks GI. This one is available in mahogany, alder or pine but most of his stuff is only available in alder or pine. Search ebay for Rosser guitars.

I like that body shape and the carve around the edge. It's "Supro-esque".  I think a 3x3 headstock is the way to go. If you are able to do a little work but not finishing I would recommend a roasted maple neck with a paddle head. It doesn't require a finish. Then you could cut your own headstock and maybe even make it a little like the Airline, Supro, Valco heastocks.

Otherwise a Warmoth, Vortex, Regal, Snakehead would be good choices. The Warmoth would probably be my choice.

Look forward to seeing it done!

wow!  I was actually thinking that it's kinda vintage rickenbacker looking!

I think a couple of Ken's 'rickenbacker like' pickups would fit the bill there...

oh - and I'd do a rick style headstock out of roasted maple with a rosewood board.  Pretty neat.

I agree with a funky Supro-Ricky-Airline type 3x3 headstock. But........if not, this is only the second time ever since it's inception in history that I think the ugly ol' Mooncaster neck would be cool. Check out Fano guitars.

My first choices would be Warmoth or Vortex styles but any of the ones mentioned previously would look good.

Yeah, 3 by 3 is what I was thinking too.

He also offers the same body shape semi hollow with an f hole up top.

I took a good look. The way they combine certain aspects of different guitars is most interesting. I found some I really liked.

I think the blue one with the lapsteel pickup is a Fano. The carve is different. The Rosser is more like the vintage Supros. Both are very cool.

I like that lapsteel pickup idea. The OP guitar is already routed for P90 / tele. I make a few Supro pickups that would fit under the P90 hood.

Yeah, cool lines on both of those guitars... Hmmm Christmas list......

The pics on the guy's listings are just samples, he does the actual bodies to order. I was thinking about picking one up for a triple mini-humbucker project.

If that Ric sounds as cool as it looks I might need to get one.

I like the idea of dropping some of Ken's pickups in your guitar.
