Well im looking at my bass, its been well used since the day it came home assembled, but basically it does have a great deal of marks on the front, purely use marks,
well just wondered what you guys would suggest using to make it look nicer again, im not fussed about it being shiny all the time, just would like to give it fifteen minutes of care every so often
IT has a warmoth translucent purple case some polishes or whatever eat through that.
Cheers.
Open to any suggestions btw if you know of something better than polish. or if i just need one of them fancy towel things to rub it over with.

I use these Clean-Rite Microfiber Multi-Purpose Cleaning Towels.

They work like a champ. Don't scratch anything - in fact, I've got one I've been using for about 2 years now to clean my glasses about 6 or 8 times a day, and there's not a single scratch on them. They're polycarbonate lenses, too. I keep one in each of my guitar cases. They really do a remarkable job. And at less than $10/dozen, they don't hurt your wallet, either.

Thanks very much, well ive looked and found some other brand microfiber multipurpose cleaning towels, more specially 3M branded ones, wouldve guessed they would be good to use.
Do you think the occasional use of something bit more is good, or is that only if you want it looking brand new again type thing?

I don't know what you're trying to correct. For me, these cloths do make it look like brand new, and I don't use any kind of buffing/rubbing/polishing compound at all. But, if you've got scratches, scuffs or abrasions, of course those aren't going to just wipe off. I'm not sure any kind of cloth is going to help, either. You may have to get a powered buffing wheel and the appropriate compound for the degree of blemish you're trying to get rid of.
