So I got this musiclander body in the big sale in December. I thought about having Warmoth paint it, but I saw a guy on Ebay doing Nitro paint jobs for a cheaper price. I messaged the guy, asked him if he could do white with a red stripe. He said he could. So I bought the body, paid for the auction, and sent him the body when it came from Warmoth in the beginning for January.
In February, he sends me a message saying he can't do the stripe, because the "the radius and the curve" of the body is too different from a Stratocaster body. I'm disappointed, and my BS meter starts going off, so I ask him to do a transparent finish instead, basically to make sure I get the exact body back.
It comes back last week, and it's a pretty decent job. The cavities are white, so you can see where he tried to do the work as originally asked, and wasn't just trying to BS me.
How would you leave feedback on ebay, given that you can only leave one line of feedback.
Oh, and I think next time, if there is a next time, I won't try to go cheap on the paint job.
