What happened?

Remember about a month or so ago someone from Warmoth posted up pics of new bodies that were to be coming down the pipe? I think we all saw a few spalts in there. What happened? Where are they?

Well, I got my bonus this morning so I'm 5300.00 on the good side of the world today. Most of it is already spent on car payment, credit card payment etc... but there is some left over and I was hoping on a spalted Strat body or finally buy a new notebook for here at work. This one is seeing its day. The smart move would be the computer since I already have 5 guitars, but dammit, when you have cash in hand GAS kicks in real quick. Next weekend Mrs. MULLY and myself are going to Tokyo for the weekend. Unfortunately for her I plan on stopping in Ochonomizu. It's a small area in Tokyo that has guitar shops every 5 feet. We call it "Guitar Town". This could get ugly. I don't think any of those spalt Strats are going to show up this weekend so I better go get my computer today while I still have money. DAMMIT!! Oh well, another bonus in December. Hopefully the spalts will be ready by then.

the problem is that you never know what's coming... perhaps you buy something now and tomorrow appears something *exactly* like what you've dreamed.... Happened to me, but I put a mental block on what had appeared :laughing7:

Mully, what may be a good idea is call, say you know they had some spalt bodies, and see if you can buy one before it goes into the showcase. Choose a finish, either clear or a nice tobacco burst, IMO, and choose a binding color.

I went out at lunch and bought the computer. The new models are coming out so I scored on the previous model that is on display for 350.00.  This place I go to is a "geek" store, not anything like the super stores. The staff are all computer nerds that know their stuff. Since it's the one on display that customers have been messing with the past few months they're going to wipe out everything and reinstall the OS. I'll go pick it up this afternoon. No charge for the reinstall either. Cool and the gang!

emachines. 320gb HD, 2gb ram, celeron T3100, 15in display, Windows7 Ultimate. I got the upgrade to Ultimate so I can put the display language into English.
