what does everyone use to polish after sanding?

While my nitro is curing I figured I would see what everyone uses to polish the guitar after sanding.  I have searched and seen all the posts on the sanding and polishing procedure, but no one mentions what they use to polish.  While I am at it...what is a good wax to use down the road?

I use automotive rubbing compound and then polish. Turtle Wax products work for me

What Jack said, plus... no need to go to 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit papers.  You can buff out from wet sanded 600 grit, no problemo.
