what brand of poly are folks using?

I see many thread on nitro brands...deft...stewmac...etc.  What brands of poly do folks find the best?

I don't use it on my guitars (although there is no valid reason why I couldn't) but I do use General Finishes High Performance Poly on my furniture projects.  It's no where near as tough as a catalyzed acrylic, but it stands up to my kids reasonably well.

Water based, easy to apply, clear, non-yellowing, and very durable.  Takes a good polish too.

I've been using Deft satin spray on my necks.

It cost a little more than some of the other brands but I've had good results.

I'm going to try the gloss on my next project.

thanks.  I have used HOK almost exclusivly.  The ALSO stuff looks cool too but I have had GREAT success with the HOK.

HOK is great stuff, I use it alot myself, but its not Poly, its Urethane.

there was a couple I hated.  When I would go to work I would drift it down the street and start it right in front of their house...at 6AM.
