I'm busting out the taylor, meeting up in a friend of a friend's upstairs pub, and spending the night playing traditional irish music. Nothing better.  :icon_thumright:

Don't know about tonight, but last night I was at a local bar seeing a folk guy - and got to play is 1920's gibson manocello.

that was pretty cool...

Dude, Luke... what sort of music?  I know TONS of Clancy Brothers era tunes.  The lyrics to "The Parting Glass" are goign on my 12 string electric that's being built, and I sang "The Wind That Shakes the Barley" at a friend's memorial service recently.... and a ton more at the wake hahahaha.

Ok, I forgot to say what I was doing.  I'm going to see "South Pacific" in Seattle and then playing my Tele with a country band in a bar.  Go ahead, laugh.

Brilliant! Love it mate! I think we're gonna be doing some dubliners covers n such.

I'm not going to do a thing! Just relax and enjoy my third friday night as a full time employee. Tomorrow will be a bit more interesting.

Gettin ready for ABATE Chapter meeting tomorrow, then a bash after that, then chill to the max

Driving to Calgary for a gig, then sleeping on somebodies floor, then driving to Revelstoke for Saturday night, for the 2nd gig. thankfully they got us a hotel room. :party07:

Playin with my new resonator, learning a couple new songs for somebody I'm starting to jam with. Probably do some work too, such is life.

I watched some Olympics too, pretty good day for us - Anna Haag won a silver medal in skiing and the hockey team beat Belarus. Alpine skier Järbyn had a bad crash though and suffered a concussion with memory loss :-\

Now, to bed. Date tomorrow.

Right now: Watching the Denmark vs. Canada curling match

I'm betting the Canadian Rink will wax those Danish boys  :icon_jokercolor:

Same thing I do every night, guitar practice followed by tv or a movie in bed.  Although, tonight I'll probably have to throw in a little "take care of sick husband" to the routine because he has not been feeling well.

couldn't resist  :icon_biggrin:  i'm looking for olympic hockey on TV, and playing a massive multiplayer online game Eve Online. i've never tried another MMORPG, and i don't think i could ever get addicted to it, but man it can consume a big chunk of time before you know it.
