Like Oprah?

Anyways, I went by a GC in person today for some castors (more $$$ than the amp..) and the cashier-guy was checking me out at the register and I mentioned the error and how I got the B200 for $16.44. He just said he thought it was a sweet deal and he wished he'd known.

If employees at the GC warehouse are as apathetic as the ones in-store, I bet I could have got it cheaper.

well he did it because this guy is so happy about it, he's telling everyone on the planet all about it.  :laughing7:

Then according to Karmadynamics, knucklehead is a'ight

First time playing Murphy through a proper bass amp. I didn't know my tone knob actually did something when I was using that 15W 112 guitar amp. Sounds good, too bad its so late and I can't crank it. Zoomed in cell-phone shot in poor light FTW!

That amp looks very solid, does it weigh a ton?

Judging from the Bad Karma that GC spews out, Knucklehead is just providing balance to the Universe.  Self-correcting dynamic system.

I intentionally didn't participate in the fleecing of GC.  While I understand everyone's logic, to me it came down to personal ethics.  Just because I CAN do something doesn't mean I SHOULD.  Just because it makes sense in modern American capitalism doesn't mean that it's ok with me.  I know right and wrong (for me).

That being said, I'm highly amused.  Hahaha

The 2 Jet City amps on the right, and the Lunchbox amp on top. There is also a brand new B200 bass amp in the next room over.

72lbs according to GC, 67 according to Acoustic, but with wheels on it moving is not a problem. I'm a bit confused and need to email Acoustic, as GC's website and Acoustic's says its 200W @ 4ohm, yet it has a hookup for another cab and the manual says 200W @ 2ohm.

Max, you did well dude.

How much were those Jet City's? Are they Tube? How do they sound?

How much would you be willing to part with them for? My amp is on the fritz, so I need a replacement ASAP.

The jet citys were $35 apiece. They are tube, and do sound great.

Unfortunately, I'm definitely keeping one, and the other one is spoken for in case I do sell it.

Max, you are getting more and more like Jack White I swear......... :icon_biggrin:

Do you have any room to sleep in there now? :icon_scratch:  :laughing7:

(Pssst, dare you to crank them all up at once........Wall Of Death.....put earplugs in first tho)

Ha, I can't crank them all at once, I don't have the hardware. And my bed only has 2 guitars on it. I can sleep.

Do you think those Jet City's are worth their "real" price? From reviews on the web, it sounds like what I want. I've been looking around to see if any music stores in my state carry them....

this guy seems to like his:

A couple of AB boxes, that have the 'both' switch selection and you are set... not that hard for a whiz like you surely? :dontknow:

Never slept with guitars but imagine they can't be too comfy!

Oh, I don't have the materials or cables to make the AB boxes.

And I think that the Jet Citys are worth the retail price. Guitlouie was playing mine today, and I also played it, and I think he enjoyed it. He's considering one now. We'll let him write something if he wants.

To those of you with the ethics problems, Too bad.

Theres a lot of companies out there doing business and paying employees as little as they can in order to reap huge profits,  Nothing wrong with that.

But when you have a bunch of undertrained under paid people working for you, your gonna get stung every once in a while by incompetance.

Just like the McDonalds cashier that gives you change for $20.00 for a Big Mac, when you only gave her $5.00.  They shoulda hired the fat ugly girl that had brains, and the bigmac was overpriced to begin with.

Sounds like those companies need a wake-up call, and I would be willing to help them out if I get the chance
