I might have this but did you fill any of the woods and if so with what

No grain fill, just the oil and a thin coat of dark wax after the oil dried.  I like the natural feel of the grain.

Tung Oil is so simple and basic.  It takes a while to dry, but its worth it.  My Warmoth is done in Tung Oil, and I peeled the finish off my MIJ Fender '69 Thinline RI and wiped it down in Tung Oil.  Love the stuff.
